Toy Breed Puppy Growth Chart

Toy Breed puppy's weight to ounces 16 oz. equals 1 pound

NOTE: An example; 10 week old puppy current weighs 2 lbs. 2oz.

conversion 16 X 2 + 2 = 34 oz.

Next find puppy's current age to the left then follow along until you find 34.

Next follow to the bottom of that column estimated adult weight is 5.5 lbs.

When in doubt use 3 x weight at 8 - 9 weeks or 2 x weight at 12 - 13 weeks.

Please note there is no way to know for sure how big a pup will be when full grown this chart is to help with a good educated guess but that is all.

This chart is a guide to what the future weight of a puppy might be. There are many factors that affect the final size your puppy may attain upon reaching adulthood and this chart CANNOT predict the final outcome with FULL certainty.

Research has shown that though these breeds are within the TOY BREED category of AKC standards --

their adult weights may not match up to many of the TOY BREED WEIGHT CHARTS for the tinier more petite Toy Breeds.

We hope the information listed below will help you with arriving at a more accurate adult weight for your puppy:

For a GIRL:

8 weeks weight take times 3.6 - 4.2 = Adult Weight

Example: if baby girl weighs 2 # at 8 weeks of age, she should be around: 7.2 - 8.4# fully grown.

Most generally your baby girl will have her full adult size by the age of 7 - 9 months of age when she comes into her first heat cycle

For a BOY:

8 weeks weight take times 4. 0 - 4.8 = Adult Weight

Example: if baby boy weighs 2# at 8 weeks of age, he should be around: 8 - 9.6# fully grown

Most generally your baby boy will have his full adult size by the age of 9 - 12 months of age.
